Eat. Eat some more.

About Us

When a group of tourists realised that the major attractions of a city didn't quite please them as much as the local cuisine, they knew something was up.

They went onto discuss this with other travellers. Soon, talk was about where one had lunch rather than the experience of seeing a famous painting. Tour guides were asked where they ate as opposed to where the cleanest and most palatable restaurant was in the area. Digital cameras were filled with photos of food in various places and different angles.

However, when the travellers returned home, the urges did not stop. They sought out local restaurants in neighbouring suburbs. They asked friends of friends of friends their secret recipe for particular ingredients. They started experimenting with new spices and vegetables.

People became confused. Nobody knew how to deal with these 'foodies'. All they cared about was eating good food. They seemed to be blinded by their stomach.

The revolution spread. People became aware that eating was not just for sustenance. Foodies ate to discover.

Some of these foodies decided to get together and celebrate this passion. They got together and built a platform to meet other foodies and, in turn, for those foodies to meet other foodies. This would allow people in the world to talk about all good things foody.

For those of you who have joined the revolution, Eat the Globe is for you.
