Autumn is the season of numerous tasty and healthy vegetables and fruits. A couple of weeks ago, we talked about 21 Pumpkin Recipes For Autumn and, today, we decided to continue our autumnal recipes journey with 16 autumn-perfect apple desserts.

Classic Apple Turnovers from Erin’s Kitchen

The first dessert recipe on our list is this Classic Apple Turnovers recipe that combines the flavors of baked apple and cinnamon together into a perfectly baked pastry that is great for an autumn breakfast or autumn sweet treat throughout the day.

Cinnamon Apple Crumb Cake from OMG Chocolate Desserts

Another great autumn treat recipe that combines apple and cinnamon into a delicious dessert is this Cinnamon Apple Crumb Cake recipe. This coffee filled with delicious apple is perfect for a rainy autumn day spent indoors.

Rustic Apple Tart from Rasa Malaysia

We could’ve included a classic apple pie recipe instead of the Rustic Apple Tart we chose but the food blogosphere is full of classic apple pie recipes so if you want to go for the classic recipe, you will easily find one if you do not already have one that you always use. We chose this Rustic Apple Tart because we love the crust of this pie more than we love the classic apple pie crust. Also, we think the rustic look of the pie is perfect for emphasizing the amazing taste of the apple filling.

Baked Apple Crisp from Tastes Better From Scratch

What we love the most about this simple Baked Apple Crisp, besides the taste, of course, is the fact that you can make it in advance if you plan to serve it during a family gathering or, if you are from the US, during Thanksgiving.

Warm Apple Pie Bread with Cinnamon from Spend With Pennies

Fruity bread is always a great way to put the seasonal fruits to good use. The Warm Apple Pie Bread with Cinnamon, like a majority of the recipes included here, is inspired by the taste of the traditional apple pie but instead of the classic apple pie crust, you get a soft buttery base. In the middle, you will find that classic apple-cinnamon combo and everything is topped with a sweet and crunchy cinnamon topping.

German Apple Streusel Slice from Gourmet Getaways

German Apple Streusel (or Strudel) is a traditional German recipe that is loved all over the world. German Apple Streusel Slice is a little bit different from the traditional streusel recipe since, instead of puff pastry, the recipe requires a shortbread-like base and a crumble layer on top. German Apple Streusel Slice is perfect alongside a cup of tea and you can enjoy the two together during breakfast or during a weekend afternoon.

Chocolate Turtle Apple Slices from Mom Loves Baking

We’re so used t pairing apple with cinnamon that we tend to forget that apples can be combined with other ingredients. For example, this quick and easy Chocolate Turtle Apple Slices combines apples with chocolate, nuts and caramel sauce. The result is such a delicious and good looking autumn treat that can be made with your kids.

Apple Pie Enchiladas from Sugar Apron

We tried chocolate enchiladas before but we never tried Apple Pie Enchiladas until we found Sarah’s recipe. This is another simple recipe that requires the classic apple pie filling. Instead of adding the mixture to a pie crust, you add it in tortillas and then you drizzle some caramel sauce on top. If you make apple pie, you can use the leftover filling to make these enchiladas.

French Apple Cake from The Happier Homemaker

When it comes to classic pies, French baking is so, so simple. The end result looks sophisticated and elegant but the process of making this French Apple Cake is quicker and easier than the process of making a traditional apple pie.

Apple Crisp Stuffed Baked Apples from Life in the Lofthouse

Autumn is not complete without baked apples and if you are bored of the classic baked apples, you can try this Apple Crisp Stuffed Baked Apples that combines the classic apple crisp recipe with the classic baked apple recipe. Serve the baked apples with vanilla ice cream and drizzle everything with caramel sauce.

Layered Apple Lasagna Dessert from Sweet Spicy Kitchen

It seems like we have a theme going on here (or that we are a little bit too obsessed with chocolate) but we tried sweet lasagna before and it was filled with delicious layers of chocolate. Instead of chocolate, this Layered Apple Lasagna Dessert has a crunchy base layer followed by a vanilla pudding layer, then an apple pie filling layered and the last layer consists of whipping cream and walnuts. Sounds delicious, right?

Salted Caramel Apple Galette from Sally’s Baking Addiction

Making gallete instead of a classic pie is another great way to cut the time spent in the kitchen and to make your life easier. We also love the fact that this Apple Galette is drizzled with salted caramel sauce instead of classic caramel sauce. This is a great way to make a very sweet dessert less sweet, however, we still think vanilla ice cream should be added on top. It’s not a must but we really love the combination.

Apple Spice Muffins from Mother Thyme

We don’t know about you but when we crave muffins all the time. Sweet, savory, it doesn’t matter as long there are muffins in our house. Since it’s September, our muffins said goodbye to the summer fruits and welcomed the autumn apple with open arms and so did we after trying Jenn’s recipe.

Invisible Apple Cake from Chopstick Chronicles

This Invisible Apple Cake was very popular in France, last year and this year it was very popular in Japan. We think it should be very popular in general, especially during autumn months. This cake’s secret is the fact that the apple slices are very, very thin and they are almost invisible after being baked in the batter. The texture of the Invisible Apple Cake is completely different from the texture of the classic apple cake since the slices of apples are very thin and they are mixed in the batter not added on top of it.

Apple Crisp Shortbread Bars from Sober Julie

Apple Crisp Shortbread Bars are another great apple recipe you can try this autumn. They are quite easy to make and they can be packed in your lunchbox. There’s nothing better than to open your lunch box for your midday break and to find a sweet treat waiting for you.

Caramel Apple Trifles from Life, Love And Sugar

Caramel Apple Trifles doesn’t require any type of baking so this recipe is by far the easiest recipe on our list. All you have to do is prepare the cinnamon apple, cinnamon whipping cream, the caramel sauce and then layered them to obtain a dessert that looks amazing. These Caramel Apple Trifles are perfect for autumn parties since they are so easy to make but they look so sophisticated.
