The entire month of December should be full of joy, laughter, yummy treats and fun Christmas themed parties because the build-up to Christmas can be more fun than Christmas day. Not that we do not love Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, but we love to be in the magical spirit of Christmas the entire month. So what better way to do that than to make some delicious Christmas treats? We don’t think there is a better way to be honest! But, since December can get very busy with all the gift shopping, Christmas parties, work and planning, we decided to try some easy and quick Christmas treats that are festive and delicious. The complicated recipes can wait for Christmas Eve, now we just want something festive, fun and ready in no time!

Pretzel M&M Hugs from Cooking Classy

Quick and easy to make, these Pretzel M&M Hugs look festive and taste amazing. Oh, and if you are a fan of sweet and salty together, you will simply adore these!

Christmas Marshmallow Pops from Bake Play Smile

We made this last year and we are going to make them again for a small gathering with our friends. They are so easy to make, yet they look so good. If you use milk chocolate or white chocolate they can be a bit too sweet and maybe you should make some with dark chocolate just in case some of your friends or guests don’t like extra sweet treats.

White Christmas Cookies from Culinary Envy

These White Christmas Cookies are ready in 20 minutes and they are very fun to decorate since all you have to do is sprinkle them with Christmassy sprinklers and icing.

Strawberry Christmas Tree Brownie Bites from Tasty Kitchen

It is almost a shame to eat these adorable Strawberry Christmas Tree Brownie Bites. We said almost, ok? They are too good not to indulge and since they are so easy to make we will make another batch to not feel guilty we ate the first one so fast.

Sugar Cookie Christmas Wreath from I Am Baker

Fast, easy and fun to make, this what we are talking about! These Sugar Cookies are so cute and festive we cannot wait to make them for our friends and family!

Christmas Pudding Cupcakes from Nicola, our foodie

When you think outside the box, you might realize that a traditional Christmas pudding isn’t always as enjoyable as a chocolate cake so you decide to create your own version of Christmas pudding to satisfy your chocolaty heart.

Christmas Tree Cupcakes from Just A Taste

These Christmas Tree Cupcakes look like a lot of work, right? They are actually very easy to make. We won’t be giving away Just a Taste’s secret, but trust us when we say the decoration looks complicated but it is actually very easy to do.

Santa Strawberries from Leanne Bakes

These Santa Strawberries are the epitome of quick and easy Christmas treats that look cute and taste good. Plus nothing beats the strawberry and whipped cream combo!

Christmas White Chocolate-Dipped Pretzel Rods from The Kitchen Is My Playground

You know what’s the best part of Christmas treats (besides eating them, of course)? You don’t need to spend a lot of time baking, you can use everything from fruits to pretzels and with a little bit of white, a little bit of green and a little bit of red you’ve got yourself a good-looking Christmas treat. Plus you get to spend a lot of time with the most fun part of making treats – decorating!

Christmas Popcorn Crunch from Home Is Where The Boat Is

This Christmas popcorn Crunch is perfect for Christmas parties, during Christmas movie marathons but it also makes a great stalking filler for popcorn addicts if you put it in a festive jar or a cookie box.

Chocolate Dipped Candy Canes from Simply Kierste

We cannot have a list of Christmas treats without candy cane. Actually, now that we are thinking about it, do we know how to… well… Christmas without candy canes? We know we are exaggerating a little bit, but you have to admit that candy canes make Christmas so much better. They are so cute and festive. Oh, and they look even better dipped in chocolate.

Marshmallow Snowmen for your Hot Cocoa from It’s Always Autumn

Now, aren’t these Marshmallow Snowmen the cutest treats for children? You can see from the picture how simple they are to make and also how totally adorable they look.

Stained Glass Window Cookies from Nicola, our foodie

You saw from the Christmas Pudding Cupcakes we talked about earlier that our foodie, Nicola, loves to think outside the box and to create Christmas treats that are not necessarily traditional. However, when she mentioned these cookies can be used as decorations we were a bit confused. Seriously, we cannot use these delicious treats as decorations, we have to eat them as soon as possible!

Oreo Ornaments from Miss CandiQuik

Speaking about edible ornaments (ok, maybe people really love edible decorations, maybe it’s us who just want to indulge in these good looking treats immediately) look how cute these Oreo Ornaments are. We are pretty sure that friend of yours and his or her sweet tooth will love them as a gift. Actually, we will love them as a gift as well. Santa? Are you there?

Melted Snowman Bark from Princess Pinky Girl

This Melted Snowman Bark is such a nice treat to make with your kids. It does not require a lot of effort and the kids will certainly love to decorate this poor guy that melted for them.

Snowflake Pretzel Pops from I Heart Naptime

In case there weren’t enough festive pretzel treats ideas out there, here is another one. So this is how you make pretzels look like delicate snowflakes. Aha! We are definitely going to make this for our Christmas Eve dinner. Can you imagine how cute they will look on the table?

And if these 16 quick and easy Christmas treats are not enough, you can check this 20 Christmas Treats article we wrote in December 2014. Wow, how time flies!

See you soon with more festive ideas for the month of December and don’t forget you can join us and share your favorite Christmas recipes with our foodie community!
