Cold autumn evenings and winter evenings require something warm and comforting for dinner, something like a delicious and hearty stew that will bring amazing flavors to your dinner table.

Some of you might prefer a fresh dinner during spring months and something traditional and festive for winter months so that leaves you with one season for trying out as many stew recipes as possible and that is autumn. We think we can all agree that summer evenings are too hot for stews unless you live somewhere with cold weather year round because in that case, you can clearly enjoy a stew for dinner during summer months as well.

We can continue talking about our reasons for believing that stew is a perfect autumn dish for dinner but we think we should stop and let these 21 recipes speak for themselves.
