I was walking through the Sydney Fish Markets and noticed a square box at one of the seafood shops....I looked carefully and it was abalone sashimi....cool...I had to give it a go. The texture was quite firm and had a very fresh seafood taste to it, it tasted similar to clam sashimi, it was perfect when dipped in a little soya sauce and wasabi. A refreshing way to eat abalone...
