I find food a great excuse to explore different suburbs...I've been to Campsie before, but mainly had Korean food in the past. This time, my friend suggested we try a Malaysian place called Albee's Kitchen. I had the privilege of eating out with some friends who were born and breed in Malaysia, so they helped us pick some authentic Malaysian dishes.

We started off with Lor Bak and Satay Chicken Sticks, the chicken was very tender and the satay sauce was a good balance of sweet and savoury flavours.

We then tucked into some main dishes...

Pandan Chicken:

Pork Mince Tofu on a Hot Plate (home made soft tofu):

Stir Fried Okra:

Milky Creamy Pork Rib:

Overall, all the dishes tasted great, the highlight for me was the pandan chicken - the meat was very succulent and the pandan aromas from the wrapped pandan leaves went really well with the chicken. The home made tofu was also yum, it was a very soft, melt in your mouth experience. For those of you who like ribs, the pork rib was very tender and juicy, and the creamy sauce was not overly rich, it went well with the tangy flavour of the pork.

Campsie is also a fun suburb to explore, it has a wide variety of shops, I loved ducking into the Indian grocery stores to check out their huge range of spices and goodies...

There is also an Albee's Kitchen in Cabramatta.
