Isn't food more delightful if you watch it being created? If you are a noodle lover, you should check out Chefs Gallery. We sat at the seats facing the kitchen, and I watched in awe, as one of the chefs pulled with his bare hands a long reel of white noodles!

The dough started off as a large white blob...and before long, through intricate twists and turns with his fingers, I watched the block of dough transform into fine, long noodles...I suddenly felt the urge to learn this amazing skill...

There is a wide range of dishes available, their main focus being that they hand make noodles to order. We tried a few noodle dishes: Fried spinach noodles with seafood and chinese pumpkin soup with noodles and golden snowflake/crumbed chicken.

The spinach noodles had a great texture, and the dried prawn roe gave the dish an interesting flavour (although the roe made the dish a bit too salty towards the end when we were trying to finish off the dish).

The pumpkin soup noodles was quite a surprising dish, as I have never tasted an asian pumpkin soup before...but it worked and the soup base was nice in combination with the fresh handmade noodles. The dish also came with snowflake chicken, which was amazingly moist and juicy.

We also tried their prawn dumplings, the prawn filling was very fresh and tasty.

It then came to dessert time, and I had to order their cute piggy sesame buns...the buns were lovely and fluffy and the sesame filling was good as it wasn't too sweet.

If you have the craving for fresh noodles or dim sums, Chefs Gallery will not disappoint your tastebuds.
