Our savvy younger sister, Ena dragged our lazy old bums to this hip & trendy dessert joint. Seriously, when a place only its doors at 8pm, it made me felt rather inadequately old! ^^ So there we were at 8:30pm, place was already packed and there were 7 groups already on the waiting list in front of us. G-R-E-A-T.

Wisely the menu were hung on the window and seats were gradually being freed up, but keep in mind though, it's not necessarily First-in-first-served as they call according to the number of ppl in your group to the now available seats.

9:15 and we're finally in. We didn't waste any time perusing through the same menu and just ordered. The owner is Malaysian and his wife is Singaporean. Ahh, that would explain the Asian-fusion of the menu and the fact (I kid you not) that each table had at least one Asian person in the mix! :P

Ena had the "Nachos" which was OK and not too sweet. I thought their use of the salty PopCorners was pretty clever.

Buu had the Peanut Pancakes which was utterly horrible. I think they were trying to make mertabak but had failed miserably. The pancake was thick and chewy - they'd probably would've fared better had they just slapped on a normal pancake & slather it with peanut butter. The chocolate sauce icing dusting was pure overkill. The only nice thing he said was the OK ice-cream :

Kiem had the Brownie, which was disappointingly too dry and tasted pretty ordinary.

I had the Pear Tart. Pretty nice overall, the pastry is pretty fresh & the entire package wasn't too sickly sweet. Wouldn't mind having it again.

Final notes...Ena said this place has a seasonal menu and can't be pre-booked for group of <6 ppl. Also not a place you'd take your date to as it's rather cramp :)
