There is something very intoxicating about the aromas of sizzling yakitori sticks... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakitori)

We were in Sapporo and were searching for a yummy yakitori restaurant...we wandered for a while and came across a yakitori place that was packed with people....a very reassuring sign of a good place to eat. We stepped in and joined the queue. After a while, our table was ready...yippee...we couldn't wait to get into these yakitori sticks...

We ordered a wide array of yakitori sticks: potatoes, eggplants, beef, chicken, asparagus, scallops, prawns; we also ordered a radish salad. Since we were in Sapporo, we had to try the famous Sapporo beer.

The food arrived rather promptly, all the yakitori sticks tasted delicious, my favourite was the beef sticks, as the meat melted in your mouth. The radish salad was different, very crispy and refreshing. Things always taste different at their origin, and with one sip, we could taste that the Sapporo beer was much lighter than usual and had a very refreshing taste to it.

I love the communal eating environment of eating yakitori...at Kushi Tori, the wide variety of dishes available and the friendly service makes this a great place to enjoy your next yakitori meal.
