A trip to Sapporo is not complete without visiting the Nijo Fish Market, it is nicknamed "The kitchen for citizen”. We walked around and came across a restaurant alley...we wandered through and sat down at one of the restaurant stalls. We ordered some delicious seafood to try: crab, grilled scallops and fish soup. The crab came out and it was huge! Ironically, though the crab tasted pretty good, it wasn't as sweet as the slighter smaller crab we had eaten at the Hakodate markets. The grilled scallops were sweet and succulent and the fish soup was light and tasty.
