It happened to be a Friday, as we walked through Chinatown. There was a nice hustle and bustle, as on Friday nights, there are generally night markets throughout the main streets of Chinatown.

I noticed a taiwanese restaurant that we hadn't tried before, and there was a wide range of dishes available on the menu, so we decided to give it a go.

I tried their seafood tofu pot special meal (seafood tofu pot, rice, and a taiwanese drink) and my friend went for the Mapo Tofu. We also ordered an eggplant entree dish to start off our dinner.

Our favourite dish was the entree eggplant dish, the texture was amazing, and the sauce was a mild chilly, sweet sauce - we could have easily eaten it by the bucket load!

The seafood tofu hotpot was well flavoured, and the seafood was fresh and tasty. The pearl milk tea drink was also good, as it was not too sweet.

My friend's Mapo Tofu dish was very hot/spicy, so avoid this dish unless you can handle the spice, as it will knock your socks off.

We left the restaurant and submerged into the night markets, there was a wide variety of snacks to try, too bad I was too full. We decided we would eat from the night markets stalls next time...
